The Venice Commission is expected to adopt the opinions on the normative legal Acts of Azerbaijan at its 82nd plenary session, the Council of Europe reported.
The Venice Commission which is a consultative body of the Council of Europe on constitutional issues will hold its session in Venice March 12-13. The Commission is advising member states on the basis of the international standards on the legal foundations of democratic societies.
The participants will focus on local self-government and freedom of assembly and demonstrations in Georgia, the electoral system of Moldova and the status of religious communities in Turkey.
