GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili sure that this organization is not threatened with disintegration and it has a future. GUAM must enhance specific projects, Chechelashvili told in an interview with journalists in Tbilisi today.
"We can not boast of that all eight groups existing within the organization actively realizing the projects. Therefore, it is necessary to use the full potential that exists in the organization," he added.
The talks on a possible disintegration of GUAM began after Viktor Yanukovich's election as the Ukrainian President.
"We hope that the new Ukrainian government will actively support the organization's member-countries," he said.
