The State Constitutional Commission is working on a project to expand the Georgian Parliament's authority.
The work over a model of a bicameral parliament and giving more powers to the parliament on the issue of the governmental formation is conducted, the commission told Trend .
If the initiative is approved by the Georgian President, it will take a legislative character.
The Constitutional Commission chairman Avtandil Demetrashvili said that if the parliament does not approve Prime Minister and the government proposed by the president, then the legislative body chooses the Prime-Minister, and he forms the government.
