Special service organizations of Uzbekistan withdrew a large batch of drugs from a villager of Sariasiysk district of Surakhani region, bordering Tajikistan, the National Security Service announced.
"Two polyethylene packages with 24 bundles was founded in a economy facility of the villager's house. It included 44,015 grams of raw opium and 2,011 grams of heroin," the announcement said.
The investigation revealed that drugs were brought to the country through the territory of Tajikistan.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
