The only opposition candidate for Tbilisi mayor should be Alliance for Georgia leader Irakli Alasania, the majority of Kviris Palette newspaper readers believe.
Fifty-nine percent of 424 respondents taking part in the survey supported his candidacy.
Protect Georgia leader Levan Gachechiladze ranked second at 11.4 percent, and Industrialists Party leader Gogi Topadze took third with 5.2 percent of the vote.
Tbilisi mayoral candidate from the Christian-Democratic Movement Gia Chanturia came in fourth and Gubaz Sanikidze of the National Forum ranked fifth.
