The Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia reported that there are no Azerbaijanis among the people injured in the blasts in the Moscow metro.

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia addressed rumors that Azerbaijanis may have suffered in a blast the the Moscow metro this morning.

"We have contacted the Emergency Situations Ministry to learn the names of the victims and if they were our citizens," the embassy said. "More accurate information will be available in the next two hours."

Blasts rocked the Lubyanka and Park Kultury metro stations this morning, ITAR-TASS reported. 
The blast in Lubyanka killed roughly 25 people, Emergency Situations Ministry representative Irina Andrianova said. Fourteen people were killed in the train and 11 on the platform, she added. At least 10 people were injured.

Twelve people were killed and 12 wounded in the explosion at Park Kultury.
