The Caspian Environment Programme (CEP) has announced the second round within Small Joint Grants Program in the Caspian region in Turkmenistan today.  

Grants are provided to legal entities operating in the Caspian region. Applications from local administrative offices, governmental agencies, private enterprises are received. Projects should be aimed at resolving key environmental problems of the Caspian region.

Joint co-competition is allowed. 

Preference will be given to projects contributing to the rapid implementation of preventive or remedial operations to improve the ecology in the region.

Grants will range from $10,000 to $50,000.

Projects will be considered on a competitive basis.

The last date for applications: June 15, 2010
