The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Executive Order to mark the 150th jubilee of the famous Azerbaijani mugham singer Jabbar Garyagdi oglu, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Jabbar Garyagdi oglu, as a virtuous migham singer has played significant role in development of national musical culture of Azerbaijan, the Order stresses. Thanks to his exalted talent, he worthily continued rich traditions of the mugham school of Azerbaijan, created bright example of the classic performance for the modern generation.
Relevant executive bodies are tasked to prepare and implement a plan of actions on the jubilee of outstanding Azeri mugham singer.
