The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) published the number of voters in the parliamentary elections in 2010.
Based on the submitted lists, there are 4.829 million resident voters, CEC Secretary Natig Mammadov told journalists.
"The preparation of electoral lists was carried out at a high level. The names of non-resident citizens will be included in the lists before the elections," he said.
"Recent natural disasters did not affect the process of compiling the lists," Mammadov said.
The lists have been specified by local electoral commissions since January and were submitted to district election commissions (DEC) Feb.5. The DECs summed up their details and passed them to the CEC April 5.
