The Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed satisfaction with the fact that no significant violations were recorded during the local elections, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at the traditional Monday news briefing.

The final results have not yet officially announced, but a complete picture makes it possible to say that the elections did not record any serious violations. Neither international observer, whose number was unprecedented, report about violations, Kalandadze said.

"These elections give grounds for optimism and possibility to invite observers to the forthcoming elections on the same format," Kalandadze said.
