Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Philippines Benigno Aquino III, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I sincerely congratulate you on your election as President of the Philippines. I am confident that the friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Philippines will continuously develop and strengthen in accordance with the interests of our peoples," said the letter.
Ilham Aliyev wished Benigno Aquino good health, success in his future activities for the welfare of the friendly people of the Philippines.
