The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry refuted information about a shoot-out between the soldiers, as a result of which seven people were killed.
"Is it possible that the Defense Ministry did not react to such kind of incident?" We assess this [misinformation] as a diversion. Where does such "news" come from? Let them say who provided them with this false information? Even after our refutations, the lie continues to spread. While publishing unverified misinformation of subversive nature, the publication must realize what responsibility it has in this case," the Defence Ministry's spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu said.
He expressed regret over the spread of the rumors about the Azerbaijani army. "This is not included in any framework," he added.
