The Military Attache Office and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Islamic Republic of Pakistan organized the event deducated to the 92-nd anniversary of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the embassy told Trend.
About 20 highest ranking generals and admirals of Pakistani army, representatives of all the armed forces, state officials, heads of embassies and representations, military attaches, prominent intellectuals of the country, the press and the military of Azerbaijani armed forces, trained in Pakistan attended the event held at Islamabad Hotel Marriott.
A video clip about the Azerbaijani Armed Forces was demonstrated. Azerbaijani march and other Azerbaijani music were performed. Participants got brochures on the activities of the Azerbaijani armed forces and a special issue of The Daily İttehad called "Brave, professional and perfectly-equipped armed forces of Azerbaijan" published in Pakistan in the English language.
Lieutenant General Tanvir Tahir attended the event and congratulated the leadership and personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the holiday.
Articles on the Day of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were published in the leading Pakistani newspapers and web sites.
