U.S. Secretary of State's visit to Georgia is very important in political life of two countries

Georgia, Tbilisi, June 28 /Trend, N.Kirtskhalia/

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Georgia with 24-hour visit on July 5. During the visit, Clinton will meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, deputy foreign minister of Georgia David Jalagania said to a briefing.

"The meetings will focus on bilateral relations and peace in the region as a whole, and in Georgia. Also discussions will be conducted on concrete issues of cooperation within charters between the two countries," said Jalagania.

According to him, this visit is very important in the political life of the two countries.
Jalagania said meetings will cover the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia, as well as the White House statement, in which Russia is mentioned as the occupier.
It is unclear where the meeting will be held - in Tbilisi or Batumi.
