Azerbaijan's economic opportunities were presented in the Netherlands with the participation and assistance of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands, the Azerbaijani embassy in the Kingdom and the Kingdom's embassy in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Investment Company and the Council for Trade Facilitation.
The presentation organized at the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands was attended by officials of the two governments, local business people, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Netherlands, the Azerbaijani embassy in the Netherlands told Trend.
Deputy Secretary General of the Netherlands Foreign Ministry M.Van Dalen briefed participants on the successful development of bilateral relations between the two countries and the prospects for their expansion, in which the Netherlands is interested.
Azerbaijani ambassador to the Netherlands, Fuad Iskanderov, spoke about the dynamic development of the country, informed the participants of the prospects of economic development and priority spheres.
Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Samir Veliyev and executive director of Azerbaijan State Investment Company Afgan Isayev informed the participants about the main priorities of economic policy, favorable atmosphere for investment in the economy, about the realized projects.
Expressing an interest in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan, the officials of the Netherlands noted the need for the visit of Dutch economic mission to Azerbaijan.
