Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's meeting with new Kyrgyz president Roza Otunbayeva was held behind the closed doors in Ak-Orda.
The state press reported that, during the meeting Nazabayev congratulated Otunbayeva on her election as president of the transitional period of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Moreover, the sides discussed bilateral relations between the two states. Nazarbayev wished the Otunbayeva success in her new post.
Nazarbayev also received King of Jordan Abdullah II. During the meeting, the leaders discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as plans for joint economic cooperation.
