Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to newly elected president of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I heartily congratulate You on your election as President of the Republic of Poland. We attach great importance to Azerbaijan-Poland inter-state relations. I am confident that our multilateral friendly ties, our cooperation has taken a strategic character, will continue to consistently develop and strengthen in a bilateral format as well and within international organizations for the benefit of our peoples," said the letter.
Ilham Aliyev wished Bronislaw Komorowski good health, happiness and success in upcoming activities for the benefit of the friendly people of Poland.
