The new Istanbul Bazaar shopping mall opened on the Turkish-Georgian border this week. The mall is located in Turkey two kilometers from the Sarpi customs checkpoint, the Adjaran government told Trend. Georgian citizens are also employed at the mall.

The new Istanbul Bazaar shopping mall opened on the Turkish-Georgian border this week. The mall is located in Turkey two kilometers from the Sarpi customs checkpoint, the Adjaran government told Trend. Georgian citizens are also employed at the mall.

Georgian citizens can buy leading brands at discounted prices without VAT.

The opening ceremony was attended by head of the Adjaran government Levan Varshalomidze. He said a similar mall will open in Adjara in 2011. Varshalomidze praised the opening as an important step toward developing economic relations between the two countries.
