The 51st International Mathematical Olympiad was finalized in the Palace of Independence in Astana.
Azerbaijani pupils Elshad Mustafayev, Alun Shukurlu and Kanan Malikov won the silver medals, and Emil Jafarli and Suhan Rustamli won the bronze medals in 51st International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in Astana.
The ceremony was attended by Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov, Education and Science Minister Janseit Tuymebayev and MPs, as well as scientists from 102 countries.
