The Azerbaijani Progressive Socialist Party (APSP) and the Azerbaijani Democratic Left Party (ADLP) have developed a unified position on the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The Azerbaijani Progressive Socialist Party (APSP) and the Azerbaijani Democratic Left Party (ADLP) have developed a unified position on the upcoming parliamentary elections.

APSP and ADLP heads Rustam Shahsuvarov and Elshan Manafov decided at a recent meeting to hold meetings and joint activities at the Azerbaijani Left Forces Coordinating Council.

The parties set up an expert group to monitor the campaign and the voting process.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan Nov. 7, 2010. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held according to the majority system in Azerbaijan's 125 constituencies.
