Ballots meet the necessary standards in Azerbaijan, Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Natiq Mammadov told Trend. Moreover, voters have never faced problems with the voting process.

"According to national laws, ballots must be clear and easy to read for voters. They meet all the abovementioned criteria," he said.

Mammadov added that the CEC has received no complaints about ballot-related problems.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan in autumn 2010. The last elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
