The Ukrainian Prime Minister will visit Georgia this year, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko said after meeting with Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze.

Tigipko said they discussed several issues at the meeting, but the most are the political reforms that the two countries implement.

"I know that Georgia is preparing for some changes in the political system. I think it is an increase in the role of the parliament, which is accompanied by certain pluses and minuses. Ukraine has implemented a similar reform in 2004, and we can share experiences - positive and negative sides," he said.

The parties discussed the tax law. Tigipko said they agreed that the two governments will set up a commission under the leadership of the countries' prime ministers. "The Prime Minister will visit Georgia this year, and I think that the relationship between the parliament and the commission e should become more intense," he said.
