Azerbaijan registered 49-percent increase in production of defense and 6,1 percent in the production of civil products compared to the same period last year, Minister Yaver Jamalov said at collegiate meeting on the results of the first half of this year.
Results of the operational, financial and business associations and enterprises, as well as upcoming activities were discussed at a meeting in accordance with the work plan, a message said.
Minister said that during the reporting period treaties were signed with power structures to the amount of 61,1 million manat.
During the reporting period on the ministry, products amounting to 24 million manat were produced. This year, according to the program of the state defense order, it is planned to create 108 products on 98 subjects, and it will cover 241 stages.
During the reporting period, about 15 of those steps have already been implemented, 19 - on the stage of completion.
The reports of heads of associations and enterprises were heard. Instructions were given to fulfill the Programme of the state defense order, and other predictable indicators.
