Another group of law enforcement officers had completed their training within the framework of the U.S. State Department to teach law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan English language.
The project started in 2006. Nowadays, over 70 law enforcement officials of Turkmenistan passed the training.
According to the U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat, graduates of this year are members of public service - customs, border, immigration services, services to combat drugs, the Interior Ministry, the National Security Ministry, Prosecutor General's Office and the Foreign Ministry.
Charge d'affaires of the United States Lynn Tracy stressed "the importance of English language in the law enforcement operations," noting that "English knowledge opens doors to information that will help them do their job effectively."
