Two helicopters of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations to extinguish forest fire in Russia, joined the operation to extinguish fire in Ryazan.
Helicopters have reached the Russian city of Ryazan August 5, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Azerbaijani firemen-rescuers immediately started to extinguish fire around Ryazan with the help of helicopter Mi-17-1B and K-32A.
Operations, coordinated with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, gave the first positive results. Fire was extinguished in several places for a short time.
