Azerbaijani National Independence Party may take part in the forthcoming elections to the Azerbaijani parliament as a bloc, the party chairman Yusif Bagirzade told Trend.

Azerbaijani National Independence Party may take part in the forthcoming elections to the Azerbaijani parliament as a bloc, the party chairman Yusif Bagirzade told Trend.

"We are negotiating with other parties for joint participation in the elections. Perhaps, Azerbaijani National Independence Party will take part in the parliamentary elections as a bloc. But it is not clarified yet. The political council of the party will make a decision. A decision on this matter will be made within three days ", Bagirzade said.

The parliamentary elections will be held Nov. 7, 2010. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.

Bagirzade mentioned about the willingness of Azerbaijani National Independence Party for the elections. "Lists of candidates are prepared. We are going to nominate more than 60 candidates. The election platform of the party is already ready," chairman of the party said.
