Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and Adjutant General Major General Myles L. Deering at Oklahoma National Guard discussed the prospects for the American-Azerbaijani military cooperation, the ministry reported.
The sides discussed the situation in the region, in particular the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S. are developing, and both sides are interested in continuing this cooperation, Abiyev said at the meeting.
