Azerbaijani school will be opened today after the reconstruction in the Georgian town of Marneuli, mainly populated by Azerbaijanis. The school is equipped with the latest technologies. Vice-Premier, State Minister for Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili's Office told Trend that the minister will attend the event today.
According to Yakobashvili, development of regions and especially schools is important for the Georgian authorities. "We don't build a "Potemkin village" and try to achieve even development throughout Georgia," he stressed.
Yakobashvili believes that children throughout Georgia should have equal opportunities to receive education. "Accordingly, we attach particular importance to construction of schools in the regions," he said.
