Individuals, who stole 90,000 manat from the cash desk of the cargo terminal at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, have been detained.
Interior Ministry's deputy spokesman Ehsan Zahidov told Trend that July 31 the Department of Air Transport Police of the Interior Ministry's Main Transport Police Department received information on the theft of 90,000 manat from the cash desk of the cargo terminal.
As a result of the investigative and operational activities, it became clear that the theft was committed by the treasurer Sevda Rahimova and her husband Ilham Rahimov.
They were detained in the Gabala region of Azerbaijan.
Some $66,035 and 5,220 manat were seized from them during the search.
Operational-investigative activities are underway on the fact.
