Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug.25 / Trend, T.Hajiyev /

Azerbaijan decided to create an electoral bloc "Garabakh", in which opposition parties will be represented.

Today chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP), Sardar Jalaloglu and the Umid Party Chairman Iqbal Aghazadeh held a press conference in connection with the joint participation in the elections at the Umid Party's headquarters.

Jalaloglu said today a joint meeting of board members of the DPA and the Umid Party was held. It was decided to establish Garabakh electoral bloc at the meeting.

According to Jalaloglu, there are no limits for other parties wishing to be represented in the bloc.

Aghazadeh said that a working group will be created for the functioning of the structure, which will hold meeting every week.

After the press conference Jalaloglu told Trend that the parties agreed on the candidates on 91 constituencies.

"Negotiations were held to create a bloc with the Citizens and Development Party and Liberal Party, but due to the serious problems revealed during the negotiations, the creation of bloc with these organizations didn't take place," Jalaloglu said.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be held in early November.
