Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will participate in the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Saakashvili wil speak at the traditional general debate to be held during the session Sept.23, the presidential press service told Trend.
The 65th Session of the UN General Assembly opens in New York Sept.14. The Georgian President traditionally speaks in the debate in the UN General Assembly and makes a special emphasis on the occupied territories and the settlement of conflicts.
President Saakashvili will leave for the U.S. Sept.20.
