The kitchen purchased for thePpresidential Palace will be culinary school. The decision was announced today at a meeting with governors and government members in Batumi, the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said.
He said the kitchen was bought recently, but at the request of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Vera Kobalia culinary school for refugee children will be created based on it.
"This kitchen was bought for the President and his guests. But we'll do without it. Refugees from Abkhazia have art of cookery in the genes, and it is good if these children will be good cooks. In the future it will be a strategic sector for development of tourism in Georgia," Saakashvili said.
