Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to the President of Kyrgyzstan for transition period Roza Otunbaeva on her country's national holiday - the Independence Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I am sure that Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relationship, in accordance with its historical traditions, will continue develop in the friendly and cooperative atmosphere," the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
President Ilham Aliyev extended best wishes to Roza Otunbaeva and wished the friendly people of Kyrgyzstan peace and prosperity.
