Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to Muammar Al-Gaddafi, Leader of Libyan Revolution, Head of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, on his country's national holiday, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I cordially congratulate you and your people on the national holiday - Great Revolution Day. I am sure friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Libya will continue developing in line with interests of our peoples. I extend my best regards to you and wish you robust health, successes in your activities, and the friendly people of Libya peace and prosperity," the letter says.
