Refugees created their own organization - Civil Movement for protection of their rights. To this end, more than 100 people, who lost their homes in Abkhazia and South Ossetia gathered near the "Tsereteli" metro station.

One of the leaders of the Conservative Party Lasha Chkhartishvili, member of the Party of the people Aleko Shalamberidze, as well as the leader of the NGO "Ara" Levan Chitadze helped them in establishing the organization.

"The organization's charter will be discussed by paragraphs. Today will be selected board members, who will elect the chairman of the Movement," Chkhartishvili told journalists.

The decision to establish the organization was made after the eviction of refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia from a number of Tbilisi establishments. They are offered places for permanent residence in the country's six regions, but they require accommodation in Tbilisi.
