Mass protest to be held in front of presidential residency in Tbilisi

The opposition will hold mass protests in front of the presidential residency in Tbilisi on Sept. 10 to demand the release of alleged political prisoners.
The Ara opposition youth movement told Trend that the organizers will submit a request to the Tbilisi mayor's office today to authorize the protests.
The organization will prepare a document by Sept. 10 with a list of the alleged political, illegal and religious prisoners. The document will be sent to diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Georgia.
The opposition believes there are 60 political prisoners and prisoners of conscience in Georgia.
