The Azerbaijani opposition electoral bloc İslahat (Reform) will submit its documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) for registration on Thursday ahead of parliamentary elections scheduled for November, the co-founder of the bloc and chairman of Great Establishment Party told Trend on Wednesday.

"Now we are resolving the issues of defining the authorized representatives of the candidates, preparing copies of the decisions and other technical issues. This process will be completed by the end of the day, and tomorrow we will submit documents to the CEC for registration," Fazil Mustafa said.

The chairman said today that another party had joined the electoral bloc. A protocol of intent was signed with the Takamul Party to join the İslahat grouping, Mustafa said.

İslahat was established on Aug. 30 with the participation of the Great Establishment Party, the Adalat Party and the Unified Azerbaijan Popular Front Party. The bloc hopes to create a new tradition in opposition.
