District electoral commissions have received 43 appeals to nominate candidatures in November's parliamentary elections. Roughly 24 people took subscription lists, the commission chairman Mazahir Panahov said at a Central Elections Committee meeting on Monday.
He said that the CEC has registered all five electoral blocs which have applied to the commission.
Authorized representatives of political parties were also approved at the meeting.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
