Sept. 14, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a telephone call to President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The Azerbaijani leader congratulated Dmitry Medvedev on his birthday and wished him robust health and successes in his presidential activities.
The President of the Russian Federation expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and congratulations.
During the phone conversation, they praised the relations between the two countries, saying they were developing in various fields. They also stressed the importance of the Russian President`s last visit to Azerbaijan, its results and documents signed during it in terms of expanding the bilateral relations.
