Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili arrived in the United States today to participate in the Sixty-Fifth Session of the U.N. General Assembly in New York.
During his visit, he will attend a special reception hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama for members of the U.N. General Assembly.
Saakashvili will also speak at a traditional general debate during the session on Sept. 23.
The president will make a speech at New York University and hold bilateral meetings with leaders from Europe, Latin America and Africa.
