The U.S. Ambassador John Bass thinks it important that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili paid attention to reforms in Georgia during his speech at the UN General Assembly. They are especially evident in the educational and social spheres.

The United States support reforms in Georgia. They intend to continue to pursue this course, Bass told media.

"Over the last 6-7 years, Georgia has really taken significant steps in the social and educational spheres. We will continue to cooperate with this country and its government in future," the U.S. ambassador said.
