An explosion occurred last night in a cemetery not far from the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi. The police told Trend that the bomb exploded at 1:30 a.m. local time.
No one was injured. A building in the cemetery was damaged.
The police found another suspicious device at the cemetery, which they neutralized on the spot.
The police said the bomb was a self-made device. An investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, local residents said the explosion was powerful.
