NATO Secretary General to arrive in Georgia

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is due to arrive in Tbilisi late Thursday ahead of an official visit to Georgia on Friday, Georgia's Presidential Administration told Trend today.
Rasmussen will be met at the airport by Giorgi Baramidz, First Vice Premier and State Minister for European Integration. Official meetings are scheduled for Oct. 1.
During the visit Rasmussen will meet the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Speaker David Bakradze, Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze. Rasmussen will also attend the inauguration of the NATO Liaison Office in Tbilisi.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said Rasmussen plan to discuss questions that were raised at a meeting of NATO-Georgia commission.
