Kazakh parliamentary delegation head to meet with PACE President

The Kazakh parliamentary delegation’s head Alexander Sudin will meet with the PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu within which the next session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) which has started today in Strasbourg, the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.

The Kazakh parliamentary delegation's head Alexander Sudin will meet with the PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu within which the next session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) which has started today in Strasbourg, the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.

"In order to strengthen inter-parliamentary ties the head of the Kazakh delegation Alexander Sudin is scheduled to meet with the PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu," the Senate said.

The agenda of the session will include debates on the situation of gypsies on Europe, state of democratic institutions in Ukraine, results of observing the elections in Moldova, combating extremism, and protection of the rights of children, the Senate said.

"The subject of discussion of the parliamentarians will be the activities of several international economic organizations in 2009, which include the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Council of Europe Development Bank," the Senate said.  

During the session, election of Deputy Chairman and General Secretary of the Assembly will be said.
