Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct.5 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgian opposition spectrum completed works on amending the electoral code. One of the leaders of the Christian-Democratic Movement Inga Grigolia familiarized journalists with the project, consisting of six paragraphs.
These paragraphs include: system of parliamentary elections, drawing up voter lists, election day, system of consideration of election disputes, order of a complete set of election administration and pre-election campaign.
Opposition parties working on a draft called on the majority to begin consultations on it, however, they are willing to discuss any counter offer, aimed at improving the electoral environment.
Opposition forces also call on international organizations to support the process of improving the electoral environment in Georgia, on which the stability and democratic development depend.
The draft project will be signed by eight leading opposition parties of Georgia - "National Forum", "Republican Party", "Our Georgia - Free Democrats", "Georgia's Way", "New Right", "Christian-Democratic Movement" and "People's Party".
