Ukrainian First vice Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev will participate in the 8th meeting of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation on Oct.7, Klyuyev's Spokesman Artem Petrenko was quoted as saying by RBK-Ukraine.
The Ukrainian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission is co-chaired by Klyuyev and Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov.
The meeting will consider the main issues of cooperation between the two countries, primarily in the energy sector.
Since its establishment the Commission held seven joint meetings. The seventh meeting was held in Baku on Sept.1.
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Ukraine in the second half of October 2010.
