Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Kangarli region as part of his visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, AzerTaj state news agency said.
President Aliyev attended the opening of a monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Large-scaled construction and land improvement work has been done in the area where the monument is located.
The President congratulated local residents.
They thanked President Aliyev for the care and attention.
