The OSCE Observation Mission has exchanged views on the pre-election and political situation in the Khachmaz region ahead of parliamentary elections this month in Azerbaijan, as well as the percentage of participation of women and youth participating in the elections in that region with the regional office of the Association for Civil Society Development (ACSDA).
Representatives of the mission were informed about the preparatory work carried out by ACSDA to observe the elections in all constituencies located in the Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Shabran and Siyazyan regions.
The OSCE Observation Mission was also informed about the social staff of ACSDA observers, training courses organized for observers, memorial books prepared for the observers, and other matters.
Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan on November 7, 2010.
