Azerbaijani President hopes objective report is prepared after OSCE Assessment Mission visit to occupied territories

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today received members of the OSCE Assessment Mission and co-chairmen of the Minsk Group for Nagorno-Karabakh, Igor Popov of Russia, Robert Bradtke of the U.S, Bernard Fassier of France and the special representative of the OSCE chairman Andrzej Kasprzyk in Nakhchivan, AzerTaj state news agency said.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today received members of the OSCE Assessment Mission and co-chairmen of the Minsk Group for Nagorno-Karabakh, Igor Popov of Russia, Robert Bradtke of the U.S, Bernard Fassier of France and the special representative of the OSCE chairman Andrzej Kasprzyk in Nakhchivan, AzerTaj state news agency said.

Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to welcome the OSCE Assessment Mission in the Nakhichivan Autonomous Republic and his appreciation for the visit.

Welcoming the work of the mission, Aliyev stressed the importance of the OSCE Assessment Mission's report, prepared during a visit to the occupied territories in 2005.

Noting the importance of including the representatives of the office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in the Assessment Mission, Aliyev expressed hope that an objective report will be prepared following this visit and observation of the mission in the occupied territories.

It will report the illegality of settlements in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, destruction and other facts of the occupation.

Members of the delegation expressed their satisfaction with the visit to the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic and informed Aliyev about the upcoming work of the Assessment Mission.
