Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct. 7 / Trend N.Kirtzkhalia /
Georgia is grateful to the United States for the assistance and support, First Deputy Foreign Minister Giga Bokeria said at the end of the inaugural meeting in the framework of the Georgian-American Charter in Washington.
Bokeria highlighted U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's statement at the opening meeting, which is "a manifestation of full support to Georgia".
"The Charter is a strategic tool for Georgia to implement the tasks set before our country. This is, first and foremost, the return to the free world," he said.
Bokeria stressed that the U.S. is a major strategic partner among the friends of Georgia in the implementation of this task.
